Linnea Dewees

MS, Marriage and Family Therapy Associate

As your therapist, I'm committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment for you to navigate life's highs and lows with professional support.

Therapy has been such a valuable tool for me, and I am motivated to support others as they explore themselves and their relationships. As your therapist, I aim to understand your unique world and how it shapes you. I view you as the expert of your own life and am dedicated to creating a supportive and collaborative therapeutic environment where you can feel safe to explore, reflect, and grow. My approach incorporates internal family systems, solution-focused, emotion-focused, and strengths-based frameworks. Together, we will collaboratively explore your life to gain a deeper understanding of who you are and where you want to go.

Outside of the counseling room, I enjoy spending time outdoors, hiking, camping, swimming, gardening, and playing soccer. I also enjoy cooking, especially for my loved ones.

I assist clients who are experiencing a range of presenting concerns, including: anxiety, codependency, coping skills, Couples Therapy, communication techniques, depression, grief and loss, infidelity, life transitions, LGBTQIA+ issues, Men’s issues, peer relationships, perfectionism, pregnancy loss, relationship issues, school issues, self esteem, suicidal ideation, trauma and PTSD, as well as women's issues.

Counseling Technique

I am trained as a relational therapist—I focus on helping partners deepen their connection, navigate conflict, and improve communication.

In individual therapy, I tend to view problems systemically; I believe that people and their presenting concerns seldom exist in isolation.

My clinical work is trauma-informed and draws upon emotionally-focused, internal family systems, and solution-focused frameworks.
