WHEN YOU FIND SOMEONE WHO CAN CREATE A SAFE AND TRUSTING ENVIRONMENT FOR YOU TO BE YOURSELF, IT CAN BE A POWERFUL AND TRANSFORMATIVE EXPERIENCE. I BELIEVE THAT ALL INDIVIDUALS ARE CAPABLE OF ACHIEVING POSITIVE CHANGE IN THEIR LIVES.

In therapy, I will work collaboratively with you to draw on your inherent strengths to deepen your contentment, strengthen your relationships, and realize your potential.

I have been drawn to therapy for most of my life. As an adolescent, I could have greatly benefited from engaging in therapy. Looking back, I wish that I had a therapist who could have worked with me as I processed the many challenges of adolescence. In the field, I was initially drawn to working with youth in the foster care system and the juvenile justice system. This work has given me so much empathy for those who have not been able to fully process their traumas. I apply my previous life experience to my practice. I recognize that it is easier for people to be aware of their problems over their resilience and I believe that all individuals have inherent strengths and resources that can be drawn upon to foster healing. It is my passion to help clients identify what those strengths are, and we can work together to facilitate a more congruent and healthy lifestyle. I believe that we all story our lives based on our lived experiences and perceived social norms. Sometimes the stories we create for our lives are beneficial for us yet others can hold us back. My aim is to work with you to narrate a story for your life that helps you to realize your true potential.

Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending quality time with my partner and our dog. I have a deep love for the outdoors. I feel my most at peace when in nature. I love to travel and explore new places and experiences. I enjoy shooting photography as well. Photography is a creative outlet for me that grounds me and inspires me to explore new places and experiences. I also love camping, mountain biking, snowboarding, and running.
