Kaley Ricketts
MSN, FNP-C, PMHNP-C
I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care through an open, honest, and collaborative approach.
I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where patients feel heard, respected, and actively involved in their treatment decisions. By working together, I aim to support meaningful progress toward mental wellness and long-term healing.
My journey to becoming a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner has been shaped by over 10 years of experience in healthcare, beginning as an emergency room nurse and later practicing as a primary care provider. Working in both high-acuity emergency settings and outpatient care allowed me to see firsthand how closely mental and physical health are intertwined, and how often psychiatric needs go unaddressed across all levels of care. These experiences drew me to pursue advanced training in psychiatric mental health, where I believe in working together with patients to achieve peak health by seeing each person as a unique individual and treating them as a whole, addressing how all aspects of their health impact daily functioning and overall well-being.
Outside of my professional life, I enjoy staying active and connected to the people and activities that bring balance and joy to my life. I love spending time outdoors, whether it’s hiking, traveling to new places, or simply enjoying nature with my Australian Shepherd puppies. I also value quality time with my husband and family, staying active through sports and working out, and embracing experiences that support both physical health and overall well-being.
I work with patients across the lifespan to address a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, medication assisted treatment of substance use, and ADHD to name a few. My approach is grounded in understanding each individual’s unique experiences, symptoms, and goals, while providing evidence-based care tailored to their specific needs. Through collaboration, education, and thoughtful treatment planning, I support patients in improving daily functioning, building resilience, and enhancing overall quality of life.
